A Glimpse Into Reality - Meditations on Emptiness
Sunday 12 April
Venue | Compassion Kadampa Meditation Centre, 2 Station Rd, South Gosforth NE3 1QD.
Day Retreat with Resident Teacher, Gen Norden
Withdraw from the city chaos and in the quiet calm of Compassion Kadampa Meditation Centre, explore Buddha’s most profound teaching on the way things really are- emptiness. Like seeing through an illusion, by growing our wisdom our idea of a fixed and inherently existent self, world and others begins to dissolve. In this way we can live in a lighter, more flexible way where constant change and possibility becomes tangible.
“If we realise emptiness directly we will attain permanent liberation from the sufferings of this life and countless future lives; there is no greater meaning than this” – Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
Gen Norden has over thirty years experience of teaching emptiness.
Everybody welcome!
