The Blessing Empowerment of White Tara – Bringing Peace Into the World
Creating peace, one mind at a time – “An empowerment bestows upon us special blessings that heal our mental continuum and awaken our Buddha nature.” Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche
Feel uplifted and inspired through receiving the blessing empowerment of White Tara. White Tara is a female enlightened being whose function is to bestow long life, wisdom and good fortune. If we rely upon her with faith, she will protect us from outer and inner dangers and fears. It is said that living beings receive Tara’s blessings as swiftly as the wind moves because she is the manifestation of the wind element of all Buddhas.
An Empowerment is a beautiful guided meditation through which we make a special, heart connection with a particular Buddha and receive their blessings. The enlightened mind is said to be like a boundless deep ocean, every drop of which has the power to bring peace to living beings. Receiving an Empowerment is a means of connecting with this potential inside our own mind, giving us the energy and wisdom to begin to realise our own Buddha nature.
You are welcome to attend only the Blessing Empowerment in the morning, or stay the whole day and receive commentary to the meditation practice of White Tara in the afternoon.
Join us at Compassion Kadampa Meditation Centre for a day that will to leave you feeling refreshed, and empowered to make a positive difference. This is a perfect way to spend a Sunday, investing in your own inner peace and the well-being of others.
We look forward to welcoming you to this special event.
