QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Our weekend courses are suitable for both beginners and those who have previous experience of meditation.

Each session consists of guided meditations and and practical talks.

There is time in between sessions for tea, coffee and conversation, as well as to browse our book and gift shop.

We recommend that you book in advance online to reserve a space, but if there is room you can also pay on site by card or cash when you arrive.

You don’t need to wear any special clothes – come as you are! You choose whether you want to sit on a chair, or a meditation cushion on the floor.

Lunch is not usually included in our weekend courses, but there are several lunch options.

There is a microwave in the social area that you are welcome to use (Note: it is a Buddhist Meditation Centre so we ask everyone to only eat vegetarian food at the Centre.)

There are several cafes to have lunch at on Station Road, just a short walk down the street.

Tea, coffee and snacks are provided at Compassion Centre.

In case of cancellation within seven days of the course there is no refund, but the course fee can be redesignated for another course within 6 months of the unattended course.
