The Path to Enlightenment Winter Meditation Retreat

Monday 5 January – Sunday 11 January

Venue |  Middleton Hall, Belford, Northumberland NE70 7LF.

Take yourself on an inner journey of peace and purpose on this week-long guided Lamrim Meditation Retreat. Held in the beautiful Northumberland Countryside, at the serene and majestic Middleton Hall, Belford.

This retreat offers a unique chance to pause, reflect, and delve into the profound teachings of Lamrim, the path to enlightenment.

With the guidance of our Resident Teacher, Buddhist nun Gen Kelsang Norden, who has over thirty years experience of guiding meditation retreats, you will be led through a series of powerful meditations designed to transform your mind and open your heart.

The meditations are based on the inspiring Lamrim prayer from the beloved practice of ‘Offering to the Spiritual Guide’ and the detailed commentary in the book, Great Treasury of Merit.

Each session contains some traditional chanted prayers, essential instructions and time to meditate and experience the meaning of these instructions in your own heart.

Through these meditations, learn to cultivate inner calm, wisdom, and compassion, paving the way for a truly happy and fulfilling life.
Join us at Middleton Hall for a journey inward, where you can discover your potential for enlightenment.

The accommodation is in high quality single and shared rooms. Middleton Hall is set in large grounds in which you can walk freely in between sessions or sit quietly and enjoy.

Be sure to reserve yourself a place by booking well in advance.
